Greetings, I'm new to these forums (though I've been frequenting uesp for several years), so forgive me if this topic has been previously discussed. So recently I've been running morrowind GOTY with the incredible Morrowind Sound/Graphics Overhaul mod on an old Macbook using a cider wrapper. Not ideal, I know, but I don't currently have access to a high-end gaming PC, and I don't have a copy of windows to run with BootCamp, and running a virtual desktop program would probably kill my RAM, so for me cider is the best way to go. Besides the obvious incompatibilities (most notably MGE, which sadly requires windows DirectX drivers), it's been running extremely smoothly. Even with almost 200 mods, including such framerate killers as Vivec Expanded, the Tamriel Rebuilt maps, Silgrad Tower, & a bunch of script-intensive mods, I've been getting amazing framerates, and haven't encountered any MAC-specific bugs thus far. I assume TES community probably doesn't encompass a significant number of MAC users, but is there anyone else out there ambitious/insane enough to have undertaken running morrowind (and more specifically, MGSO) on MAC? _________________ 'Sweet Moon Sugar!' My imac is older too. I can just get by with all the image effects off, graphics on low, and a fairly low resolution, in addition to a mod which 'optimizes' (read as: near butchers) textures. Interesting I've never really looked in depth as to all the mods included within the overhaul - I just look at the exe installer and sigh. I shall have to investigate more, although the main feature I'd love is the infinite draw distance, which is part of the extender.
